Hematology/Oncology Physician Opening – West Michigan (Grand Rapids Region) Seeking a full-time clinical Hematologist/Oncologist to join a comprehensive cancer program serving the West Michigan and Lake Michigan shoreline communities. Ideal candidates are quality-focused, collaborative, and committed to innovation in patient care. About the Opportunity -Perform full-spectrum Hematology and Oncology care including new consults, active therapy management, and follow-up care -Collaborate within a multidisciplinary cancer program to support an exceptional patient and family experience -Role includes time between two integrated cancer centers within the regional network -Comprehensive oncology service line with access to multiple subspecialties including: * Radiation Oncology * Neuro Oncology * Surgical Oncology * Gynecologic Oncology * Breast, Thoracic, and Colorectal Surgery -Expansive regional cancer network and robust primary care referral base Support Structure & Services -Full complement of ancillary support programs: -Advanced Practice Providers -Infusion services -Care Management -Social Work -Nurse Navigation -Nurse Triage -Research and Clinical Trials -On-site Laboratory and Pharmacy -Genetics and Financial Counseling -Program marketing support to enhance outreach and patient engagement -Academic and research collaboration through affiliation with University of Michigan -EPIC EMR Candidate Parameters -Fellowship trained in Hematology/Oncology -Board Certified or Board Eligible (must become certified within 2 years) -Eligible for Michigan medical license -Open to H1B visa candidates -Not open to J1 visa candidates -Not accepting locums candidates Compensation and Benefits -Competitive salary based on experience and training -Starting bonus (discussed at interview) -Relocation assistance (if applicable) -Full-time comprehensive benefits package -Malpractice insurance with tail coverage -CME funds, licensure, and professional membership support -403(b) retirement plan with employer contribution and match Call / Clinical Expectations -Primarily clinic-based (36 face-to-face hours for full-time) -Inpatient rounding as needed -Infusion supervision expected -Shared call schedule (call-only coverage) Requirements at Presentation -Fellowship trained in Hematology/Oncology -Board Certified or Board Eligible (must be BC within 2 years) -Michigan license (or willingness to obtain) -Clean malpractice history preferred -DEA, BLS, ACLS (or willingness to obtain) -Visa support eligibility (H1B only, not J1)
