Hematology/Oncology Physician Openings – Saginaw, Michigan Two physicians are needed to join a highly respected, multidisciplinary cancer program providing full-scope Oncology and Hematology care. This opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact while working with a dedicated, collaborative team in a comprehensive Cancer Care Center. About the Opportunity -Full-scope Hematology and Medical Oncology -Approximately 20% inpatient / 80% outpatient -Approx. 30% Hematology / 70% solid tumor care -Current outpatient census ~25 patients per clinic; inpatient ~5–10 patients -Reason for openings: increased volume and physician departure -Hospital-employed positions Team & Support Structure -3 full-time Medical Oncologists (Hem/Onc) -1 full-time Hematologist (Hem only) -Dedicated support staff: each physician has a clinic RN and MA -2 inpatient NPs provide hospital support -Cohesive, low-turnover team with strong mentorship for new graduates Program Features -Multidisciplinary cancer care center with all services under one roof -Shared call schedule with dedicated inpatient cancer floor minutes from clinic -Outpatient infusion center for chemotherapy, infusions, and blood products -Advanced technology including Elekta Versa HD Linear Accelerator with Brainlab/Exactrac, brachytherapy (Flexitron), and Xofigo -Breast Health Center dedicated to breast cancer prevention, detection, and treatment -Peer-to-peer clinical relationship with MD Anderson -Potential for academic involvement through Central Michigan University -Research expansion in progress -Center ranks in the top 10% nationwide for patient experience -Newly remodeled clinic and waiting areas -EPIC EMR Responsibilities -Provide inpatient and outpatient Hematology/Oncology care -Participate in shared call rotation (weekends included) -Travel to satellite clinics may be required occasionally Qualifications -Board Certified or Board Eligible (0–5 years from training) in Hematology -Board Certified or Board Eligible (0–5 years from training) in Medical Oncology -Eligible for unrestricted Michigan medical license -DEA required (prior to start) -CSR/CDS required (prior to start) Candidate Parameters -Open to new graduates and experienced physicians -Open to H1B visa candidates -Not accepting J1 visa waivers -Not accepting locums candidates Compensation and Benefits -Base compensation: $525,000–$625,000 (data-driven, aligned with MGMA) -Guaranteed salary first 2 years with RVU model and shared referral structure -$50,000 sign-on bonus -Relocation assistance up to $15,000 -Productivity bonus potential -Student loan repayment and/or stipends for residents/fellows -Professional liability/malpractice coverage -Health, dental, and vision insurance -Short- and long-term disability -Life insurance -Paid CME (including membership/licensure support) -37 paid days per year (vacation, holidays, sick, CME, etc.)
