- Multiple practice locations to choose from - Cooperstown, Herkimer, or Oneonta
- Base salary: $600,000 – $675,000 (based on a 4-day work week)
- This salary reflects Bassett Healthcare’s good faith estimate, dependent on experience, training, specialty, education, and market standards.
- Performance-based incentive plan with no earnings cap – potential for additional income beginning in the first year
- Sign-on bonus up to $200,000
- Fellowship stipend up to $60,000, available up to 18 months before graduation (contingent on eligibility under U.S. immigration laws)
- Supportive transition bonus
The Bassett Regional Cancer Program has maintained continuous accreditation from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center since 1947, and from the American Society of Clinical Oncology since 2021. As a long-standing member of ECOG-ACRIN, the program has participated in NCI and other sponsored clinical trials for nearly 30 years.
This program follows a collaborative, multidisciplinary care model that includes on-site Radiation Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Pathologists, and Radiologists, and features an active weekly tumor board. A full spectrum of patient support services is also available, including Nurse Navigators, Social Workers, Financial Counselors, a Nutritionist, and Palliative Care Practitioners.
