Hematology/Oncology Physician

Required Skills
  • Board-certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology
  • MN medical license (or IMLC accepted)
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
  • Proficient in inpatient care, malignant hematology, and infusion services
  • Strong knowledge of EMR systems, specifically Epic
  • Current DEA certification
  • BLS certification

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience with solid tumor management
  • Skills in complex malignant hematology procedures
  • Ability to work independently during call hours and weekends
  • Prior experience in hospital and infusion center settings

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited school
  • Board certification in Hematology and Oncology
  • At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a hospital environment

Other Requirements
  • Eligibility for emergency privileges with a clean credentialing record
  • Support from APPs during regular hours (not on call or weekends)
  • Flexible start date: January 12, 2026
  • Contract duration: 3 to 6 months, with potential extension or buyout options
  • Shift hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with on-call coverage as needed
  • 20-23 patients per day, shared among providers
  • Support staff includes APPs during daytime hours
  • Travel or additional certifications are not required
