Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for a Locum-to-Perm opportunity in South Carolina. This position offers excellent compensation, full travel and lodging coverage, and the potential to transition into a permanent role.
Qualifications
Active SC license (or ability to obtain)
Active DEA and BLS
Willing to participate in tumor boards, manage bone marrow transplants, blood bank, and order imaging/tests
Working Hours

✈️ Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed
🕑 M–F, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
📅 Dates: November 1, 2025 – ongoing (perm preferred)
👨⚕️ Outpatient avg: 25 patients/day
🏥 Inpatient avg (call): 20 patients/day
🧬 Case mix: 65% benign hematology / 35% malignant oncology
📋 Call: No call during locums; perm role = 1 week every 6–8 weeks
👥 Team: 7 physicians + 6 APPs
🖥️ EMR: EPIC
