Job description
Seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology physician for a locum assignment with potential transition to permanent. The role offers a supportive team environment with both outpatient and inpatient oncology care responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities
Inpatient rounding during call weeks (~20 patients/day).
Participate in tumor boards and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.
Manage bone marrow transplants and blood bank responsibilities.
Order tests, imaging, and prescribe treatments.
Work closely with nurse oncologists for chemotherapy administration.
Qualifications
Active South Carolina license (or willingness to obtain) – Required
BLS and DEA – Required

Clean malpractice and background
Working Hours
(No call during locum period; permanent role includes call 1 week every 6–8 weeks)
Skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, APPs, and nursing staff
Proficiency in Epic EMR
Strong communication and patient management skills
