- Seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology physician for a locum-to-perm opportunity starting November 1, 2025.
- The role involves both outpatient and inpatient oncology care within a well-established team, with the option to transition into a permanent position.
Job Responsibilities
Inpatient rounding during call weeks (~20 patients/day).
Participate in tumor boards and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Manage bone marrow transplants and blood bank responsibilities.
Order tests, imaging, and prescribe treatments.
Work closely with nurse oncologists for chemotherapy administration.
Qualifications
Active South Carolina medical license (or willingness to obtain).
DEA and BLS certifications (required).
Clean malpractice and background history.
Working Hours
(Call not required during locum period; permanent role includes call 1 week every 6–8 weeks.)
Skills
Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency with Epic EMR.
Ability to manage complex patient cases with compassion and accuracy.
