Job description
We are seeking a Board-Eligible Hematology/Oncology physician for an outpatient locum tenens opportunity in Washington. This role is scheduled clinical hours only (no call). Coverage begins October 20, 2025, with a schedule of 8-hour days, 3–4 days per week (on site).
This is a new clinic designed to supplement the existing cancer care center. Providers can expect to see 8–12 patients per day with strong on-site support from another physician, a nurse practitioner, RNs, and a medical assistant. Documentation is managed in Cerner Community Works with AI charting assistance.
This opportunity does not involve infusions, bone marrow transplant, or breast oncology. It is best suited for providers who are comfortable working in a smaller, collaborative setting with limited layers of support.

Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with on-site physician, NP, and nursing staff
Use Cerner Community Works EMR with AI charting support
Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care in a community-based cancer clinic
Qualifications
Active WA medical license or IMLC eligible (willing to consider licensing)
DEA license required
Must be comfortable practicing in a smaller, independent setting
Working Hours
3–4 days per week onsite
Flexible start time (typically 8:00–5:00)
No call required
Skills
Proficiency with Cerner Community Works EMR
Ability to thrive in smaller practice environments with limited administrative layers
