Job Description:
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to serve as Medical Director at a state-of-the-art cancer treatment facility in Mason City, Iowa.
Compensation and Benefits:
Highly competitive salary range based on experience and training (to be discussed at interview). Provider may submit salary expectations with presentation.
Up to $150,000 commencement bonus

Busy outpatient practice with immediate volume.
Work in a modern, patient-friendly, comprehensive cancer center.
Join a collaborative team including 4 Hematology Oncologists, 2 Radiation Oncologists, and 4 Advanced Practice Providers.
Facility underwent a $10 million expansion and renovation in 2021.
Features include 24 infusion chairs and 20 exam rooms.
Manageable patient load ensures excellent work-life balance.
On-site survivorship and genetics programs.
Minimal call: phone only (1:4), with 24/7 hospitalist coverage handling most inpatient responsibilities.
Weekly multidisciplinary tumor boards with specialists in Pathology, Radiology, Surgery, Urology, GI, and more.
Comprehensive support staff: dietitian, physical therapist, dosimetrists, physicists, clinical pharmacist, financial counselor, social workers, tumor registrars, and others.
Qualifications
Board Eligible (must become BC within 3 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology OR Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Hematology/Oncology (must be ABIM or AOBIM)
Iowa license or IMLC (or willing to obtain)
BLS (by time of start)
DEA certification (by time of start)
CDS certification (by time of start)
Previous employment experience in leadership role
