Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Oncologist/Hematologist for clinic and on-call coverage in Ohio. Provider will cover outpatient clinic days at Marion and weekend hospital call at Grady. Responsibilities include reviewing EPIC in-basket, placing orders, signing notes, rounding on assigned inpatients, and providing coverage per the call schedule.
Job Responsibilities
Take weekend on-call coverage as assigned, with required daily rounds when on call
Manage 15–18 patients per day in the Hematology/Oncology clinic
Review and manage EPIC in-basket daily
Sign outpatient notes by EOD or end of following day
Place own orders, following ABN guidelines
Report off to the next provider in the on-call rotation
Round on any assigned inpatients and complete consult notes
Qualifications
Active Ohio license or IMLC LOQ
DEA required
Working Hours
24-hour beeper call: Sept 19 (4pm) – Sept 22 (8am)
Coverage needed: 1 day per month
Skills
Strong outpatient hematology/oncology clinical skills
Ability to manage clinic workflow and on-call responsibilities efficiently
Excellent communication and patient management
