Job description Seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Medical Oncologist to provide outpatient cancer care and occasional inpatient consults in Brattleboro, Vermont. This part-time role (20 hours/week) involves working two clinic days per week, seeing 14–16 patients per day, and participating in a shared on-call rotation. Job Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient cancer care and occasional inpatient consults.
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of oncology cases with evidence-based care.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including radiologists, surgeons, and nurses.
• Participate in shared on-call duties and weekend rotations.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and prognoses.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner Community Works EMR.
• Stay updated with oncology advancements through continuing education and research.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Medical Oncology by ABIM (or board eligible with certification before start).
• Active Vermont medical license (must be obtained prior to start).
• BLS and DEA certifications (must be obtained prior to start).
• Clean malpractice history and background check.
• Experience preferred, but open to new board-eligible candidates.

Working Hours

• Part-time, 20 hours/week
• Two clinic days per week
• Shared on-call schedule (negotiable)
