Job Title: Locum to Perm - Physician - Hematology Oncology

The practice incorporates an inpatient consult service, an outpatient clinic, and an infusion center connected to the hospital, creating a holistic approach to cancer treatment for adult and geriatric patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Participate in a Tumor Board and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Order tests and images as necessary for patient evaluation.
• Prescribe medications and treatments for both malignant and benign hematology cases.
• Monitor and manage a varied patient population, ensuring high-quality care.
• Engage in shared call duties as part of a call pool with APP support.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Hematology Oncology (REQUIRED).
• Active Michigan Medical License (HIGHLY PREFERRED; candidates awaiting licensure will be considered).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (REQUIRED).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Hematology Oncology.
• Active Michigan Medical License.
• BLS certification required.
