Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist for a long-term outpatient locum opportunity in Oklahoma. This is a full-time role with a combination of on-site outpatient clinic coverage and telehealth during off-weeks. No acute leukemia or bone marrow transplant cases.
Job Responsibilities
Provide consultations at the hospital, with minimal rounding
Perform and oversee chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormone therapy, targeted therapy, and infusion treatments
No bone marrow transplants (BMT) or acute leukemias
Document in Mosaiq EMR
Qualifications
End: June 30, 2026
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Full-time role; minimum 4 days/week on-site required
Telehealth coverage available during off-weeks
Working Hours
Start Date: 9/15/2025
Shift Type: Day shifts
Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
Skills
Skilled in patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
Comfortable working independently during daytime shifts
Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
Able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
EMR documentation proficiency (please specify EMR system, e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.)
Ability to respond efficiently to consults and routine patient management
