Permanent | Academic Appointment Available | NCI-Designated Cancer Center

Position Overview

A prominent academic medical center in a New York City borough is seeking a fellowship-trained Hematologist/Oncologist to join a rapidly expanding Division of Hematology/Oncology due to unprecedented growth across Southern Westchester County and the Bronx. This is an outstanding opportunity to combine high-level clinical practice with clinical and translational research in a nationally recognized program.

Division & Program Highlights

Clinical Responsibilities
  • Hybrid schedule:

    • 3 days inpatient

    • 2 days outpatient

  • Opportunity to increase outpatient clinical time as volume and program expansion continue

  • Broad malignant hematology and solid tumor exposure

  • Active participation in interdisciplinary conferences and tumor boards

Academic & Research Opportunities
  • Integrated clinical and translational research

  • Support for:

    • Investigator-initiated studies

    • Cooperative group trials

    • Industry-sponsored research

  • Teaching and mentorship of fellows, residents, and medical students

Qualifications
  • MD or DO

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Hematology/Medical Oncology fellowship

  • Board Eligible (true BE) or Board Certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology

    • Board certification preferred

  • Demonstrated interest in academic medicine, research, and teaching
