New York City Borough - Clinical/Academic Sickle Cell Directorship Opportunity Available
- Clinical Role:

- Permanent job opening- due to unprecedented department growth in Southern Westchester County & the Bronx
- Join the largest and most comprehensive Sickle Cell program in New York City
- Approximately 1,300 sickle cell patients
- 55 + faculty members/ 45 clinicians and 11 laboratory scientists in Division of Hematology / Oncology
- Active involvement with medical students, residents, and fellows as well as clinical research and trials
- See an average of 15 patients per day
- Call is 1 weekend in 8 weeks
- Be supported with a fully trained professional support staff including Program Director, multiple NP’s, Clinical Research associates, dedicated social workers and administrative staff
- Seeking fellowship trained in Hematology and/ or Medical Oncology with Sickle Cell Disease Fellowship, or demonstrated training pathway / experience in Sickle Cell Disease
- Must be (true) Board Eligible, prefer Board Certified in both specialties
- Academic appointment available level based on credentials
- NCI designated Cancer Center

- Competitive base salary range up to $400k DOE plus other incentives
