Hematology Oncology Locum Position in Elizabethtown, KY

Part time Hematology & Oncology Locum position in Elizabethtown, KY- $550/hr

We are looking for a provider to start ASAP(privileges can take 45-90 days) and work the second week of each month (preferred) with coverage end date around 6+ months.

Shifts Available: 8 hours of onsite clinic support and night call (24 hours in total)

Schedule:

• Clinic Hours: 8 am- 5 pm
• Night Call: 5pm-8am
• Monday to Monday schedule, the second week of each month preferred.

Submission Requirements:

• Board level: Board Certified (BC)
• KY or compact license in hand preferred
• Completed combined Hematology and Oncology Fellowship
• Boarded in medical oncology OR Hematology
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, DEA Certificate

Position Details:

• Privileges available: Full Privileges
• Minimum years of Experience: negotiable
• Geographic restriction: No geographic restrictions
• Other job post notes: Max 15-20 pts daily. Mostly will need assistance with new hematology consults and follow-up of established Hem and Onc patients. Locums will see patients who are stable on treatment when their primary oncologist is not available.

• Workload: Patients per Day Shift = 18
• Reason for coverage opening: Volume increase

• Chemotherapy
• Blood Transfusions
• Immunotherapy
• Lumber Puncture (spinal tap)
• Radiation therapy
• Ablation therapy
• This location does NOT treat acute leukemia patients or sickle cell patients
