Full-Time, Permanent Position
Position Overview:
Seeking a System Executive Medical Director of Cancer Services to lead, expand, and transform a comprehensive cancer care program. This visionary leader will oversee four critical divisions, fostering clinical innovation, strategic growth, and exceptional patient outcomes within a fully integrated health system.
Practice/Position Highlights:
Lead and integrate the following divisions:
- Division of Cancer Surgical Specialties (Breast Surgery, Gynecologic Oncology, Head & Neck, Surgical Oncology)
- Division of Radiation Oncology
- Division of Hematology/Oncology (Hematologic Malignancies, Stem Cell Transplant, Medical Oncology)
- Division of Hospice and Palliative Care
Collaborate with division heads, specialists, and executive leadership to elevate standards of care
Drive strategic initiatives and clinical advancements across the oncology service line
Champion a culture of excellence, innovation, and compassionate, patient-centered care
Shape the future of oncology services through leadership, mentorship, and academic alignment
Qualifications:
MD or DO, Board Certified in oncology-related specialty
Minimum 10 years of clinical oncology experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Experience in academic medicine or clinical research preferred
MBA or MHA preferred
Eligible for New York state medical licensure
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive base salary: $500,000 $800,000
