- Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 2 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. There are 9 exam rooms in the department. The facility is seeking a physician to provide full-time Hematology/Oncology care, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a patient load of approximately 12–14 patients per day. The physician will manage a mix of hematology and oncology cases, including all types of cancer, though acute leukemia patients are typically referred to Dana Farber in Boston. Responsibilities also include managing post-transplant Bone Marrow/Stem Cell patients and performing in-office procedures such as bone marrow biopsies, spinal taps, and intrathecal chemotherapy. Call coverage is required outside of office hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a 1 in 4 rotation.

Job Responsibilities
* Manage all types of cancer cases, excluding acute leukemia.
* Oversee post-transplant care for bone marrow/stem cell patients.
* Perform in-office procedures including bone marrow biopsies, spinal taps, and intrathecal chemotherapy.
* Participate in call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
* Active and unrestricted medical license.
* Experience with bone marrow transplant follow-up care preferred.
* Able to participate in a rotating call schedule.
Working Hours
* Call coverage required outside of office hours, including full-day call on weekends and holidays.
* Call rotation is 1 in 4.
Skills
* Skilled in performing bone marrow biopsies, spinal taps, and intrathecal chemotherapy.
* Strong clinical judgment and coordination in post-transplant care.
* Effective communication and teamwork in a multidisciplinary setting.
