Job Responsibilities
Coordinates and refers services of community resources, placement providers, collateral agencies, the court, or other community partners with families, clients, or patients receiving services.
Analyze and test items, interpret result or implement changes — other tasks as assigned.
Provides direct patient care in the clinic setting including: assessment, screening, diagnosis, and treatment of patients; determines the degree of disabilities of the patients
Performs medical procedures
Reviews laboratory, x-ray findings and diagnosis other tests
Appropriately and in a timely manner documents all relevant information in Electronic Health Records
Coordinates and refers services of community resources, placement providers, collateral agencies, the court, or other community partners with families, clients, or patients receiving services.
Provides patient education, counseling, medication advice and follow up instructions
Participates in patient and in-service training for support personnel
Participates in Quality of Care and in Peer Review Meetings
Providers exemplary customer service to patients, visitors, and coworkers
Provide expert consultation and treatment to patients in the outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic; as well as provide feedback and consultation with the other services.
The Physician will evaluate, triage, and prioritize requests from Primary Care providers and others for outpatient hematology/oncology subspecialty consultations.
They will obtain medical histories, conduct physical examinations, order and evaluate appropriate laboratory testing, and plan and prescribe treatment for patients.
The Oncologist will coordinate medical management and care with Primary Care providers and other medical personnel in a multidisciplinary health care delivery system.
The Oncologist will perform administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

• Principles, theories, and practices of medicine.

• Use logic to analyze or identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts associated with information or data to conclude.

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)
NextGen Knowledge (Preferred)
Excellent Computer Skills
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
