Requirements:
- Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology – Required
- Active Connecticut Medical License – Required at time of submission (No exceptions)
- Local Providers Only (No flights provided) – Highly Preferred
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology (Required).
- Active Connecticut License in hand at the time of submission (Required).
- Local candidates preferred (no flights covered).
- No Internal Medicine responsibilities.
- Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations.
- Availability for occasional night/weekend call (1:10 ratio).
Job Responsibilities
Setting: Inpatient consults and Outpatient Clinic
Reason for coverage: LOA
Call schedule: weekends: 2-3 per year/nights 1:10
Adults/Geriatric
80% Hem 20% Onc *no internal Med
EMR System: Epic
Trauma Level: Level I
Workload and Patient Volume:
Inpatient Consults: 10 patients per day (PPD)
Outpatient Clinic: 15 patients per day (PPD
Qualifications
Active Connecticut License in hand at the time of submission (Required).
Local candidates preferred (no flights covered).
No Internal Medicine responsibilities.
Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations.
Working Hours
Some weekend and night call (infrequent)
Weekend call: 2–3 per year
Night call: 1 in 10
