Hematology/Oncology at State-of-the-Art Cancer Center in Maine * Located in Bangor, ME * Full-time, permanent opening * Hospital-employed Join an experienced and established team of (14) medical oncologists, (4) radiation oncologists, (3) pediatric oncologists and, (10) Nurse Practitioners at the state-of-the-art Cancer Institute. We are a community-based practice that has all the perks of an academic facility, allowing our physicians to see a mix of both inpatients and outpatients. It is a 411- bed, regional tertiary care and ACS verified level II trauma center serving a patient population of 500,000 living in the northern two-thirds of the state s geography. The hospital is a base for LifeFlight of Maine, a critical care air transportation service flying nearly 1,000 missions per year.
