We are seeking a Permanent Hematology Oncology Physician in New York.

Permanent Hematology Oncology Physician

Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Physician - Hematology Oncology
Location: Albany, NY
Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: Monday-Friday, 40-hour workweek (days), 1:5 weekends and approximately 1:5 weeknights
Start Date: Open
End Date: N/A

Position Details:

Patient Population: Adults only
Setting: Hospital-based outpatient and inpatient care
Responsibilities:

  • Provide both hematological and oncological care (50/50 split)

  • Collaborate with a multi-specialty team, including radiation oncologists and surgeons

  • Participate in tumor boards and grand rounds

  • Supervise and work alongside APPs in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Required Procedures: General hematology/oncology procedures
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: 5 APPs, 5 full-time Radiation Oncologists
Days Per Month: Full-time schedule
On-Call/Weekends: 1:5 weekends and 1:5 weeknights

Submission Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine – REQUIRED

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology – REQUIRED

  • New York medical license (or in process) – REQUIRED

  • DEA registration – REQUIRED

  • BLS & ACLS certification – REQUIRED

  • Visa support required? (J1 or H1B) – Please specify in submission
