Part-Time Hematology/Oncology Physician Opportunity – Pittsburgh VA Healthcare System

**Eligible for $200,000 in student loan reimbursement**

Description: The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) is recruiting for a part-time physician specializing in hematology/oncology to join our growing program. We are seeking candidates with excellent clinical skills and experience in the full range of care in hematology/oncology. VAPHS is one of the largest VA healthcare systems in the United States offering state-of-the-art technology that serves a large Veteran population in Western Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas. This is an incredible opportunity to be part of an exciting initiative to expand care for Veterans throughout Western Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas.

Job Responsibilities

Practice Highlights:

Management of hematology/oncology patients in the outpatient, inpatient consult, and telehealth setting
Conducting and enrolling patients into clinical trials
Supervision and instruction of Hematology/Oncology and Internal Medicine residents/fellows.
Participation in multidisciplinary meetings
Basic and translational research in hematology and/or oncology

Qualifications

Preferred Experience:

Board eligible/certified.

Working Hours

M-F 8:00am - 4:30pm
