Job Opportunity: Hematology Oncologist

Join a dedicated cancer care team in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as a full-time Hematologist/Oncologist. This esteemed practice seeks innovative and quality-focused physicians to expand services to the West Michigan community. The facilities include the Richard J. Lacks Sr. Cancer Center and the Johnson Family Cancer Center, both equipped with advanced technology and a supportive network of specialists.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology patient care, including new patient referrals, active treatment, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the patient and family experience.
  • Participate in a comprehensive oncology service line with subspecialty access, including Radiation, Surgical, and Neuro Oncology.
  • Engage with an extensive Primary Care referral network to ensure robust patient support.
  • Utilize full ancillary support staff, including Advanced Practice Providers and infusion services.
  • Enhance outreach and patient engagement through program marketing.
  • Access cutting-edge research resources through affiliation with the University of Michigan.
  • Open to new graduates (must be board-certified within 2 years).
  • Consideration for H1B visa candidates.

Qualifications:

  • Fellowship-trained in Hematology Oncology.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (must achieve certification within 2 years).
  • Active Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain).
  • Clean malpractice history preferred.
  • DEA License (or willingness to obtain).
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Michigan Medical License.
  • Fellowship in Hematology Oncology.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible.
  • DEA Certification.
  • BLS and ACLS Certification.
