Join Our Team as a Hematologist/Oncologist
Practice Summary: Our medical group is seeking a full-time, board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist to enhance patient care within our expansive cancer network serving West Michigan and the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline. Join a dedicated team of quality-focused and innovative physicians at our cutting-edge facilities, which include the Trinity Health Richard J. Lacks Sr. Cancer Center and the Trinity Health Johnson Family Cancer Center. You will enjoy a supportive environment that promotes collaboration among a multidisciplinary team while providing comprehensive oncology services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide full-spectrum hematology and oncology patient care, including new patient referrals, active treatment, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for positive experiences for patients, families, and staff.
- Engage in care across two facilities: Trinity Health Richard J. Lacks Sr. Cancer Center and Trinity Health Johnson Family Cancer Center.
- Participate in an extensive oncology service line with access to numerous subspecialties including radiation, surgical, and gynecologic oncology.
- Work with a comprehensive team that includes advanced practice providers, social work, care management, and more.
- Engage in clinical trials, research, and maintain affiliation with the University of Michigan for advanced resources.
- Be part of a patient-centric approach with robust referral networks for enhanced support.
Qualifications:
- Fellowship-trained in Hematology/Oncology (required).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (must be board certified within 2 years of eligibility).
- Possession of a Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Clean malpractice history is highly preferred.
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days, required).
- Current copy of NPDB Report (within 30 to 60 days, required).
- DEA licensure (or willingness to obtain).
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Eligibility for visa support for H1B candidates (J1 support not available).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Medical license for Michigan (MI).
- DEA (or willing to obtain).
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or willing to obtain).
