We are seeking a Physician Hematology/Oncology in Iowa.
Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Hematology/Oncology
Location: Iowa
Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: Days + On-Call (1:4 by phone only)
Start Date: TBD
Position Details:
- Patient Population: Outpatient practice with a focus on Hematology/Oncology
- Setting: Busy, state-of-the-art cancer treatment facility
- Responsibilities:
- Lead and build the future Medical Oncology team
- Support a culture of excellence in patient-centered care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including 4 Hematology Oncologists, 2 Radiation Oncologists, and 4 Advanced Practice Providers
- Minimal on-call duties (phone only, 1:4)
- Participate in weekly tumor boards with on-site specialists
- Required Procedures: Hematology/Oncology procedures
- EMR System: TBD
- Support Staff: Dietitian, physical therapist, dosimetrists, physicists, clinical pharmacist, and more
