Job Title: Permanent Physician - Hematology Oncology

Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in Saginaw, MI! We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic Hematology Oncology physicians to enhance our Oncology and Hematology department. Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Medical Oncology and Hematology care within a hospital-employed setting.
• Manage an approximate 20% inpatient and 80% outpatient case load.
• Conduct evaluation and treatment for hematology cases (30%) and solid tumors (70%).
• Oversee an outpatient census of about 25 patients per clinic, with inpatient volume averaging 5-10 patients.
• Collaborate with a cohesive group of 3 Medical Oncologists and 1 Hematologist for optimal patient care.
• Develop peer relationships, including a curbside consult connection with MD Anderson.
• Utilize dedicated medical assistants, clinic RNs, and inpatient NPs to support patient care.
• Participate in a teaching and training affiliation with Central Michigan University's College of Medicine.
• Engage in clinical research and advancements in oncology treatments.
• Adapt to some occasional travel to satellite clinic locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology (0-5 years residency required).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology (0-5 years residency required).
• Must hold a valid Michigan medical license or be willing to obtain one.
• DEA certification must be secured prior to employment.
• CSR/CDS certification must be obtained before starting.

License and Certification Requirements
