Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Physician - Hematology Oncology
Location: MN
Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: 7 days per week, including weekends; Inpatient coverage only (including weekends and overnights).
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
End Date: Minimum of nine months
Position Details:
- Patient Population: Adult
- Setting: Inpatient coverage only
- Responsibilities:
- Management of VAD/CV Catheters
- Assessment of port integrity
- Chemotherapy - Intrathecal
- Required Procedures:
- Management of VAD/CV Catheters
- Intrathecal Chemotherapy
- Average Number of Patients Per Day: 10+
- Call Schedule: 5 PM to 8 AM (low call volume, averaging 1-2 calls per night).
- Trauma Level: Level I
- EMR System: Epic
Submission Requirements:
- ABMS Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology - Required
- Minnesota State License - Required
- BLS Certification - Required
