Join Our Team as a Hematology/Oncology Physician!

The Genesis Cancer Care Institute, accredited by the NAPBC and the NQMBC, is seeking an additional Hematology/Oncology physician to join a dedicated team of 4 Oncologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners. This community-based hospital program operates clinics in Davenport, IA, Clinton, IA, and Silvis, IL, providing top-notch care with leading technology and collaborative services in radiation oncology, genetic testing, clinical trials, and infusion resources.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide care at clinics in Davenport, IA and Silvis, IL.
• Conduct inpatient consultations primarily at Genesis Medical Center-Davenport, IA.
• Participate in shared call evenings and weekends.
• Collaborate within a physician-led medical group promoting leadership, wellness, and work-life balance.
• Work with a hospitalist team providing inpatient support.
• Build the practice you desire with autonomy while enjoying the benefits of employment.
• Maintain a clean malpractice history; preference for those without ongoing cases.
• Stay current on Board certification requirements in Hematology and Medical Oncology.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency) or Board Certified in Hematology.
• Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology.
• IA and IL licenses, or willingness to obtain.
• DEA and CSR/CDA certifications, or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Preference for candidates with a clean malpractice history.

License and Certification Requirements:

• IA and IL medical licenses (or willing to obtain).
• DEA registration.
• Controlled Substance (CSR/CDS) registration.
