Job Opportunity: Hematology/Oncology Physician in Davenport, IA
Join the esteemed team at the Genesis Cancer Care Institute, an accredited facility by NAPBC and NQMBC. Nestled in the heart of Davenport, Iowa, we are a community-based hospital program operating with clinics in Davenport and Clinton, Iowa, as well as in Silvis, Illinois. Our dedicated team consists of 4 Oncologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners committed to providing comprehensive cancer care that integrates leading technology and collaborative treatments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide care at the Genesis Cancer Care Institute, utilizing advanced technology and collaborative services.
- Cover clinics in Davenport, IA, and Silvis, IL.
- Conduct inpatient consultations primarily at Genesis Medical Center-Davenport, IA.
- Participate in a shared call schedule.
- Work with a hospitalist team providing inpatient support.
- Enjoy autonomy in building your practice while being part of a cohesive medical group.
- Foster a culture of leadership, wellness, and work-life balance.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
- Active licenses in Iowa and Illinois or willingness to obtain.
- Must have clean malpractice history; preferred candidates bring no recent claims.
- Must hold or be able to obtain DEA and CSR certifications prior to starting.
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days of application.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology Oncology.
- Iowa and Illinois licenses (or willing to obtain).
- DEA and CSR certification required.
