Exciting Opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematologist/Oncologist in Clinton, IA

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide care primarily at the facility in Clinton, IA, with potential rotations to Genesis Health System in Davenport, IA.
- Split time between Hematology (30%) and Medical Oncology (70%).
- Handle minimal after-hours calls, conducted by phone only.
- Manage an average patient load of 30 per day, with 30 minutes allocated for new patients and 15 minutes for follow-ups.
- Work alongside a dedicated team including four RNs, MA, CNA, and a receptionist.
- Utilize hospitalist services for infusion coverage as needed.
- Collaborate with the onsite Radiation Oncology, affiliated with the University of Iowa.
- Participate in initiatives toward COC Accreditation for cancer care.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology.
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Hematology.
- Iowa medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Preferred clean malpractice history.
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must hold or be eligible for Iowa medical licensure.
- Board certification or eligibility in both Medical Oncology and Hematology is mandatory.
