Medical Oncology near Cleveland, Ohio

Physician-Owned | 4-Day Workweek | Lake Erie Shoreline | $400/Day Call Stipend

A physician-owned medical oncology group along the Lake Erie shoreline is looking for a medical oncologist who wants to practice thoughtfully, without volume pressure or administrative noise crowding out the actual work. This is a well-established program with more than 200 referring primary care physicians, a balanced hematology and solid tumor case mix, and a four-day clinical week built around sustainable, long-term practice.

Practice Details

  • Physician-owned multispecialty group with 3 medical oncologists, 1 radiation oncologist, and 2 experienced nurse practitioners
  • More than 200 referring primary care physicians support two established hospital-based clinics
  • Balanced case mix of approximately 50 percent hematology and 50 percent solid tumor oncology
  • Multidisciplinary tumor boards and coordinated cancer care across specialties

Schedule

  • Four-day clinical workweek split between two nearby hospitals with consistent weekday hours and well-managed patient flow
  • Dedicated administrative time each month for documentation and program development
  • Weekend call averages two to four inpatient consults per day, primarily phone-based

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary with RVU-based productivity incentives and a $400 per day call stipend
  • Sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, retention incentives, and potential loan forgiveness
  • Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement, malpractice with tail, CME, and generous PTO

Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
  • Comfortable with a balanced hematology and solid tumor case mix
  • Interest in a physician-owned, community-based practice model
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Ohio
