An outpatient treatment clinic is seeking a hematologist/oncologist for locum tenens coverage.
Champaign is a city in Central Illinois! Visit Krannert Art Museum, Hessel Park, or State Farm Center to enjoy sporting events!
The schedule entails Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with additional night and weekend phone call coverage. The workload ranges from 14 to 20 patients per day, managed through the EPIC EMR system, with the potential need for hospital privileges within 30 days. The role primarily involves patient follow-ups, monitoring for planned chemotherapy, assessing treatment responses, and determining appropriate interventions, requiring board certification in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
