One of our clients in CA needs assistance with an Oncology Hematology locum tenens coverage. Here are some of the details.
Location: Northern, CA.
Coverage Dates: ASAP-Ongoing
Schedule: M-Th 7:00 AM-5:30PM with night call then 24hr remote call coverage Fri-Sun
Practice Details: Duties: All aspects of Diagnosis, Staging, Precision Medicine, symptom management, and Treatment of Hematology/ Oncology Patients. MD oversight for both the Oncology/Hematology clinic and Infusion Services. Infusion Center requires MD onsite for all treatments. Infusion Center provides Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Blood/Platelet transfusions, Hormone therapy, Antibiotic Therapy, Rheumatoid Arthritis injections, and Therapeutic Phlebotomies. Required Procedures: N/A. Bone Marrow Biopsies are referred to as an outside provider. Average daily census: 15-21 patients Mon-Thurs shared between the MD and NP with 3/4 of appointments going on the MD schedule.Current call coverage: 24/7 each week with around 5 calls per day
Setting: outpatient, clinic-Hospital
EMR: iKnowmed (Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion)
Must be CA licensed, ACLS, DEA, BLS, and Board Certified.
Malpractice, travel, and credentialing are taken care of on your behalf.
