Hematology Oncology Locums position in Red Bluff, CA where Outpatient and No call coverage is needed. Here are some of the details:

Schedule: Outpatient Chemotherapy and Infusion Center is looking for a locum to cover two weeks of vacation in 2024!

• Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM-5:30 PM

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

• Board Certified in Oncology AND Hematology - PREFERRED - Will consider Board Eligible. (Can accept providers boarded in Oncology OR Hematology)
• CA License - REQUIRED
• Residency Requirements/Fellowship - Medical Oncology Fellowship - REQUIRED
• CA DEA, BLS, ACLS - REQUIRED
• Clean Malpractice/background - PREFERRED
• Must be available for dates listed above - REQUIRED

Practice Description:

• Duties: All aspects of Diagnosis, Staging, Precision Medicine, symptom management, and Treatment of Hematology/ Oncology Patients. MD oversight for both the Oncology/Hematology clinic and Infusion Services. Infusion Center requires MD onsite for all treatments. Infusion Center provides Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Blood/Platelet transfusions, Hormone therapy, Antibiotic Therapy, Rheumatoid Arthritis injections, and Therapeutic Phlebotomies.
• Required Procedures: N/A. Bone Marrow Biopsies are referred to outside provider
• EMR: iKnowmed (Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion)
• Support Staff: 1- clinic RN, 2-MAs, 2-front office clerks, 1-quality analyst/billing, and 3 infusions RNs.
• Average daily census: 15-21 patients
• Mon-Thurs shared between the MD and NP with 3/4 of appointments going on the MD schedule.
