Coverage Needed
- ASAP - ongoing
- At least 3 weeks per month availability
Schedule
- Mon - Fri, 8hr days
- Night and weekend call
Clinical Details
- When rounding, only at 1 hospital campus
- Coverage could include outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, night call, weekend coverage
- Adult and Geriatric patient population
- 50% hematology, 50% oncology
- 8 physicians in the practice
- 16-20 patients per day
- Rounding at 2 hospitals
- Required duties: Orders tests, orders images, prescribes
- Administration of chemotherapy: physician, nurse oncologist
Requirements
- Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Hem/Onc - Required
- Active NY License - Highly Preferred
- BLS, ACLS
- Clean background/no malpractice - Highly Preferred
- COVID-19 Vaccine
Call
- 1:6 weekend call
- Call coverage at two facilities
Support Staff
- Radiation oncologists
- 6 APPs
EMR
- Sorian and Meditech (Epic - May 10)
