Description:

Hematology Oncology Locums position in Albany, NY where outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, some night call, weekend coverage and outreach to sister facilities is needed. Here are some of the details:

Schedule: Ideally looking for a provider with at least 3 weeks per month availability.

• Monday – Friday 8-5

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Must meet all requirements in order to be considered for submission.

• • Board Certified - Required
  • Fellowship: Required
  • WI license only - Required
  • Supervision of APP’s: Required
  • Bone marrow biopsies: Required

Practice Description:

• Outreach to neighboring clinics is required
• 1:6 weekend call
• 1:6 call: Call coverage at both hospitals
• Patients per shift: 15
• We have 2 MDs and 3 NPs (2 NPs are in their 1st year of practice) at one location
• his Department sees most hematology/oncology patients (Community based center), and bone marrow biopsies can be completed right in the Cancer Center.
• The providers will consult both ambulatory and hospital patients.
• The Cancer Center has 18 Chemo infusion chairs as well as 2 non-chemo infusion chairs.
• EMR: Cerner

Compensation for this opportunity is highly competitive at $500 hourly
