**Hematology/Oncology Opening in North Carolina**
* Located in ***Washington, NC*** - Coastal; Greenville, NC 20m
* Seeking a BE/BC Fellowship trained Hematology Oncologist to join their cancer program.
* Applicants should have an interest in growing a community-based general oncology practice.
* Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule
* Shared regional call
* Established team of experienced nurses and nurse navigators
* Advance practice provider support
* Accredited cancer center includes 13 bay infusion therapy unit, radiation therapy services, survivorship planning, patient support services and meditation garden
* Clinical responsibilities will include: developing treatment plans for new diagnosis in hematology oncology patients, chemotherapy oversight, supervising advance practice provider on follow up patients, and participation in tumor board
* Participation in a 9-hospital system of cancer care with 5 COC accredited sites sharing a common medical record and planned COC Network
* Close collaboration with the Cancer Care team which includes a multidisciplinary team of specialists including radiation oncologists, hematology oncologists, surgical oncologists, gynecologic oncologist, neurological oncologist, hematology oncology fellows, and patient navigators

142-bed full-service hospital with an active medical staff of more than 50 physicians representing 20+ specialties, as well as more than 600 nurses, technicians and support staff. The hospital offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services including medical, surgical, intensive care, emergency, pulmonology, orthopedics, urology, cardiology, and womens services. In addition there is a lab, diagnostic imaging services, physical and respiratory therapy. Hospital features Cancer Center, offering leading-edge chemotherapy and radiation therapy, among other cancer services.
