Job Description

A Beverly Hills, California based client is seeking an excellent Medical Oncology Physician to provide care to patients of all ages in an academic state of the art setting. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative Physician who values providing equitable care to all populations and has an interest in research and clinical trials. Hematology and oncology is a 20/80 split.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
  • Current CA state medical license
  • Completed an accredited residency program
  • Current DEA certificate
  • Board certified
  • Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient's condition, stage of cancer, and other relevant factors.
  • Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy, and other advanced cancer treatments as appropriate, while closely monitoring the patient's response and adjusting treatment regimens accordingly.
  • Provide compassionate care, support, and guidance to patients and their families throughout the entire treatment process, addressing their concerns, explaining treatment options, and discussing prognosis in a clear and empathetic manner.
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including surgeons, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, nurses, and other specialists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans, discuss complex cases, and ensure coordinated care.
