Description:
Hematology/Oncology Locums position in Springfield, MO- $500 hourly
Medical Oncology in Danville, IL where Outpatient Coverage with possible rounding is needed. Here are some of the details:
Coverage Need/Schedule Details: Mainly Outpatient
- Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday 8A - 5P
- Rounding: as needed
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Certified-REQUIRED
- Active MO License - REQUIRED
- Provider to supervise APP’s-REQUIRED
Practice Description:
- Most oncologists do 4 days outpatient with 1 day as admin/hospital.
- Patients per day: Would prefer 16, really up to the locum (2 new heme; then 14 established) or we would consider them just doing average 6 new heme patients in a day, only focus on the new heme to keep that access open.
- Hem only coverage would be outpatient/clinic only – see only new heme referrals coming in as we have a backlog of 110 at this time and we average at least 8 new referrals per day for just heme.
- APP’s available for coverage
- EMR: Epic
Compensation for this positon is highly competitive at $500 hourly.
