About the Position: Hematology/Oncology

  • 70% Academic and 30% Clinical (outpatient only)
  • Lead a team of 11 hematology/oncologists and three radiation oncologists
  • The Chief will report directly to the Chair of Internal Medicine and be responsible for: developing a nationally-recognized division of hematology/oncology, integrating the diverse clinical and research activities, and leading the development of a new hematology/oncology fellowship training program


Requirements: Hematology/Oncology

  • Applicants should be at the Professor or Associate Professor Rank
  • ABIM certification in Hematology/Oncology
  • Experience with expansion of clinical and research programs and faculty recruitment.
  • Experience with community outreach and engagement
  • A commitment to support efforts to promote a climate of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of the Division
  • Leadership experience with the development of clinical and academic programs, including participation in clinical trials preferred
