Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Hematology/Oncology Physician in Melbourne, FL paying $3800/hr - $4000/hr(negotiable)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: Until October 2024

Shift Details/Schedule: Monday – Friday and one weekend per month of call

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients, document medical histories, and address patient inquiries and concerns.
  • Diagnose and manage injuries, illnesses, and medical conditions.
  • Conduct, analyze, and interpret diagnostic tests and communicate results to patients.
  • Keep patient records current by updating information and treatments.
  • Develop treatment plans and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Stay up to date with advances in medicine and best practices.

Skills

  • General hematology oncology – 50/50

Practice Setting:

  • Clinic

  • Hospital (across the street – for call coverage)

Requirements:

  • Board Certification: required in medical oncology and hematology

  • License required: FL

  • Minimum experience required: will take new grads and experienced providers

Credentialing Timeframe: ~30 days for temporary privileges (with a clean file), otherwise ~90 days
