JOB DESCRIPTION: Medical center in eastern Tennessee is seeking a Medical Director to lead its growing team of medical oncologists/hematologists and advanced practice providers. Qualifications: Candidates must be board-certified in medical oncology and hematology Minimum of 5 years clinical experience Previous effective provider leadership experience About this Position: Responsible for the overall clinical oversight for the group and medical oncology program in collaboration with the leadership team. This will include identifying, setting, and measuring group/program goals, ensuring patient safety and quality of care, meeting patient experience targets, management of physicians and advanced practice providers, support for clinical research development, serving as group/program clinical liaison internally and externally, and program development.
