**Chief of Hematology/Oncology opening in Texas** Located in Tyler, TX - Dallas 98m * Seeking an accomplished leader to serve as the Chief of Hematology/Oncology. * 70% Academic and 30% Clinical (outpatient only) * Lead a team of 11 hematology/oncologists and three radiation oncologists * The Chief will report directly to the Chair of Internal Medicine and be responsible for: developing a nationally-recognized division of hematology/oncology, integrating the diverse clinical and research activities, and leading the development of a new hematology/oncology fellowship training program. * Applicants should be at the Professor or Associate Professor Rank * ABIM certification in Hematology/Oncology * Experience with expansion of clinical and research programs and faculty recruitment. * Experience with community outreach and engagement * A commitment to support efforts to promote a climate of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of the Division * Leadership experience with the development of clinical and academic programs, including participation in clinical trials preferred **Recruitment Package may include:** * Base salary + wRVU production incentive * CME allowance * Sign-on bonus * Medical debt assistance + Consultative services by Navigate Student Loans * Relocation allowance * Residency stipend * Paid malpractice coverage * Health benefits + Retirement plan * Marketing + practice growth assistance Tyler is centrally located in Northeast Texas, approximately half-way between Dallas and Shreveport, LA.
