Docstar is working with a client of ours that is looking for a Hematology/Oncologist on a Locum Tenens basis.
Schedule: M-F, 8A-5P, weekend call (1:2, telephone consults = 99% of call)
Setting: St. Petersburg, FL
Split time at (1) brand new clinic in downtown St. Pete and (2) clinic with 25+ years' credibility in community.
Work Type: 90-95% OP, 5-10% IP
Types of Cases: General, all diseases treated. 70% ONC, 30% HEM. Ability to do BMT's are a plus, but not mandatory for consideration.
EMR: IKnowMed (McKesson, designed specifically for ONC)
Credentialing is 60-90 days.
Requirements:
-FL licensed
-Must be able to commit to full-time, 5days/week
2-3 years' experience at least
-Charting/EMR is huge emphasis. Provider must be diligent.
