**Director of Medical Oncology & Hematology opening: Knoxville, TN** **Position Details** - Full-time, permanent - Seeking a Medical Director to lead a growing team of medical oncologists/hematologists and advanced practice providers. - The largest providers of cancer care in East Tennessee, with eight locations throughout the region. - Medical Director will be responsible for the overall clinical oversight for the group and medical oncology program in collaboration with the TOG leadership team. - This will include identifying, setting, and measuring group/program goals, ensuring patient safety and quality of care, meeting patient experience targets, management of physicians and advanced practice providers, support for clinical research development, serving as group/program clinical liaison internally and externally, and program development. **Compensation** - The Medical Director will enjoy a competitive salary with a generous sign-on bonus, RVU bonus potential, an excellent benefits package including generous CME allowance, paid malpractice insurance, and flexible relocation assistance. **Qualifications** - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO) - Candidates must be board-certified in medical oncology and hematology - Minimum of 8 years clinical experience - Previous effective provider leadership experience - Tennessee Medical License-eligible **About the Medical Centers** - One group currently is made up of 25 Providers (10 Medical Oncologists/ Hematologists, 3 GYN Oncologists, and 12 Advanced Practice Providers) covering eight locations with over 50,000 patient visits annually.
