Requirements: 2+ years experience. Current registration as an NP in the State of Washington.
Under the sponsorship of assigned Medical Director or physician, provides quality patient care in specific areas of assignment including Cardiac Surgery, Palliative Care, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Thoracics Vascular Surgery, Medical Oncology, Urgent Care, or Emergency Services/Orthopedic. Works collaboratively with physicians, other providers, and nursing staff by providing daily patient management. Provides education and instruction to other staff as required.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Master's in Nursing (MSN, MN) in area of specialty; national board certification as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty.
LICENSE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in Washington State with prescriptive authority. BLS certification is required. DEA certificate. Current ACLS; PALS is required based on area of assignment.
CONTINUING EDUCATION & COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
Continuing education and/or licensing requirements: Washington State ARNP. DEA Certificate. Continuing Education credits to maintain licensure
