Hem/Oncology | Locum Tenens Gig in ME
Caribou - 3 hours north of Bangor, ME ... close to the Canada border
- Hem/Oncology locum tenen needed in Maine
- Monday-Friday
- 8 hour days
- 8a-5p
- 8-10 patients are seen per day
- almost a purely outpatient practice
- no formal call
- Acute patients are transferred to a higher-level facility downstate, then return here for ongoing outpatient treatment.
- Hem/Onc's also cover one day a week at the Northern Maine Medical Center Clinic in Fort Kent, about 45 minutes north of the facility
- Completion of an accredited Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology (3 year) or Oncology (2 year) is required; Board Certified or board eligible while tracking to become Board Certified in Oncology; Board eligibility or certification in Hematology is desired, but not required.
