Obstetrics and Gynecology Locum Tenens Opportunity - Kennewick, WA Position OverviewLifePoint Health is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician for locum tenens coverage at Trios Health in Kennewick, WA. This is a scheduled clinical hours plus call position to cover a scheduling vacancy. The role includes both outpatient clinic and inpatient responsibilities with beeper call coverage on a 1:3 call ratio.
Key Responsibilities Clinic hours Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Call coverage 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM with a 1:3 call ratio and 30-minute call response time requirement Daily rounding for approximately 30 minutes to one hour for patients in labor & delivery or post-partum See approximately 20-22 patients per clinic shift with an average of 5 patients seen during call Handle 2-5 admissions during call periods Manage approximately 12 average phone consults during call Document patient contact hours, call back hours, and overtime hours with supporting clinical notes Provide detailed documentation of call back reasons for validation and audit purposes Candidate Requirements Active medical license in Washington State or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) membership required Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required Clean background check and malpractice history required Fellowship training preferred ACLS and BLS certifications required NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available for providers with clean background and completed application Must successfully complete credentialing and privileging process Must obtain background check and drug screen prior to onboarding Organizational HighlightsTrios Health is part of LifePoint Health and features a comprehensive obstetric program with Level 3 trauma capabilities. The facility utilizes McKesson and Athena EMR systems and provides a supportive team environment with 2 RNs, 3 MAs, and 7 office staff members.
