We are seeking a Gynecologist for a locum tenens assignment in California, starting Jan 5, 2026, for a 40-day commitment. The schedule involves weekday, daytime hours (8a - 5p, Monday through Friday) with alternating weeks through the end of April. This opportunity is ideal for a provider experienced in outpatient GYN and prenatal care, especially in resource-limited, underserved, or rural settings.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide prenatal office visits only, including new OB intakes and routine follow-ups
- Review and adjust prenatal care plans for high-risk patients
- Allow extended visit time for complex cases as needed
- Perform limited GYN services when appropriate (LARCs, IUC, paps, colposcopy)
- Manage routine and complex outpatient GYN cases
- Work independently in a resource-limited rural setting
- No deliveries and no call responsibilities
Additional Information
- Must have an active California license
- Obstetrics and Gynecology board certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and underserved populations preferred
- Prior community health, tribal health, or rural clinic experience strongly preferred
- Ability to manage patients with delayed or inconsistent preventive care
