A major healthcare organization in Iowa is seeking a Locum to Perm OB/GYN Hospitalist to begin January 1, 2026. This is a full-time hospitalist position with 24-hour in-house call and a consistent monthly schedule.

No GYN responsibilities

EMR: Epic
Support & Environment:

8-bed OBED
-
On-site imaging, lab, and pharmacy
-
MFM available on call
-
Residents present, but hospitalist does not supervise them

Approx. 1,389 OBED visits/year, with ~463 deliveries annually
Job Responsibilities
-
Manage OBED patients
-
Provide care for emergent obstetric cases, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections
-
Care for unassigned obstetric patients
-
Participate in Iowa’s only maternity transport team
Rate Categories Required for Submission
(Malpractice must be included in all rates)

Submission Requirements

Board Certified, or truly Board Eligible – Required

Active Iowa license or IMLC – Required (LOQ must be uploaded at name clear)
