Job Description:

  • Provide hospital support for OB & GYN patients in a busy inpatient setting

  • Deliver collaborative care alongside a community health care partner (FQHC) and midwives

  • Manage approximately 80 deliveries monthly in a high-volume, supportive environment

  • Provide 24-hour in-house coverage for labor & delivery, OB/GYN triage, and ER calls as needed

  • Serve as a regional referral resource for GYN patients

  • Perform daily rounding on post-operative and post-partum patients

  • Participate in a collaborative care model enhancing patient safety and community health

  • Work within a multidisciplinary team including anesthesia, NICU, and midwives

  • No separate “doc call” expected; full-time dedicated hospitalist role

  • Support and enhance hospital protocols during the launch of 24-hour in-house coverage in April 2025

  • Candidates must be Board Certified

  • Not accepting Locums candidates

  • Not accepting visa candidates for locum roles

  • Clean malpractice is preferred

  • Cannot accept providers who have malpractice cases in probate or requiring supervision

  • Provider MUST be Board Certified or Board Eligible in the US

  • Board Certified in OB/GYN – REQUIRED

  • Iowa license (or willing to obtain) – REQUIRED

  • Does the provider require visa support – J1 or H1B? (Must be noted) – REQUIRED

  • Clean malpractice – Highly Preferred

  • Trinity Health does not reimburse credentialing fees

  • Submission acknowledges candidate has not applied directly
